What this site is
Four2Four is an independent editorial publication and metadata catalogue for underground electronic music. Coverage is curated. We profile releases we believe in and link to authorised retailers (Beatport, Bandcamp, the artist’s own store) for purchase.
What this site is not
Four2Four is not a music store, a streaming service, or a piracy host. We do not host or distribute commercial music files. Audio previews are embedded from the rights holder’s own platform (Beatport, SoundCloud, Bandcamp) under those platforms’ terms.
Promotional / demo material
Any audio files made directly available through Four2Four are provided for promotional and evaluation purposes only – intended for DJs and music professionals to audition records before buying through authorised channels. They are not for redistribution, commercial use, broadcast, public performance, sale, or sync licensing. Buy links to the rights holder’s preferred retailer accompany every release.
By downloading any audio file you agree to:
- Use the file solely for personal evaluation.
- Not redistribute, upload, share, or commercially exploit the file in any form.
- Purchase the release through an authorised retailer if you intend to play it publicly or include it in DJ sets, broadcasts, or any commercial context.
Rights holders who prefer their material not appear: see our DMCA procedure. We respond within 24 hours.
Editorial independence
Four2Four does not accept payment for editorial placement. Coverage is at the editor’s discretion. Where a piece is sponsored, it is clearly labelled; sponsored placements do not affect any other content on the site.
User content
If you submit comments, corrections, or other content, you grant Four2Four a non-exclusive licence to publish and edit it. You retain ownership of what you submit. Don’t submit anything that isn’t yours to submit.
Accuracy
Metadata is sourced from rights holders, retailer feeds, and editorial review. Errors happen. Send corrections to four2fournet@gmail.com and we’ll fix them.
Disclaimers and liability
The site is provided “as is.” We don’t warrant uninterrupted service or error-free content. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site.
Changes
Material changes are dated above and noted on the homepage for 30 days.
